Last night we went to a Lock and Key Valentine’s Party at a bar called Orange. The boys had keys and the girls had locks, in which your “true love”/hook up of the night would open your lock and hopefully, something else as well. Luckily for me, I did not have some idiot open my lock. However, Amanda, unfortunately was stuck with a Hagrid look-alike who would not leave her side. Haha, that was hilarious. At the bar they even had little beer pong tables set up which intrigued the spaniards and we had them join in on our game. Sidenote: need to practice my beer pong skillz.
School sucked today. It was excruciatingly boring and painful, partly because I was tired and slightly hungover, and other part the teachers talk so damn fast I can’t understand a damn word. First week of school: I love Art History, El Cine y La Novela, and I hate Culture, Language/Grammar, and Phonetics. Phonetics is the worst. The teacher talks 100 miles per hour and it’s so goddamn boring.
Flashback: Went to Salamanca for a weekend, it was fun. We went to a Chupeteria where we tried a shot called El Diablo Verde and it was FIRE IN MY MOUTH. It was weed flavored liquor, NEVER try weed flavored liquor no matter how curious you are. It’s not worth it. Saw the University of Salamanca and found la rana/frog on the wall, it’s a tradition in Salamanca. Stayed in my first hostel, 20 beds…again, don’t EVER book a 20 bed hostel.
I’m getting more comfortable with my roommates and the little group we’ve created, so it’s on the up now. We’ve been bonding over youtube videos (Do Da Stanky Leg, I’m On a Boat, Jizz in my Pants, Bump Keys and more!) and our mutual hatred of Lauren Kridel. Forgive me God, I am a horrible person.
I’m still struggling with my Spanish. I’m annoyed and pissed off. Bill Withers helps.
Next weekend I am stoked for Amsterdam. Me EJ and Amanda are going to the land of the Dutch to partake in the smoking cafes, eat space brownies, see some Van Gogh, and a sex show apparently which involves a candle and audience participation…Get excited for the next post!
